Bounce House Rules: Safe Fun Starts Here!

Bounce houses require careful supervision and adherence to specific safety rules to ensure a fun and safe experience. Key rules include removing shoes, sharp objects, and jewelry before entering, limiting occupancy based on age and size, prohibiting flips and roughhousing, and keeping food and drinks away from the inflatable. Proper setup, including anchoring, and weather considerations are also crucial.

At Just A Jumpin Inflatables, fun is our business, but safety is our top priority. Whether you're planning a backyard birthday, school field day, or community festival in Cleveland or anywhere in North Georgia, following these bounce house safety rules ensures everyone has a safe, joyful experience. These simple guidelines help protect your guests, preserve our inflatables, and keep the good times rolling all day long.

Supervision equals Safety

Adult supervision isn't optional, it's essential. We require that an adult be actively stationed at the bounce house entrance at all times during use. Responsible supervision helps prevent accidents before they happen.

Separate jumpers by age and size to avoid injuries. Only allow the recommended number of participants inside the inflatable. Rotate groups fairly by setting time limits, especially at larger parties. Following these bounce house safety rules keeps the fun safe for everyone.

Keep These Out of the Bounce House

To ensure everyone stays safe and the inflatable remains in top shape, the following are not allowed inside:

Shoes, jewelry, glasses, or sharp items like keys or hard toys
Food, drinks, gum, candy, glitter, paint, confetti, or silly string
Pets or animals of any kind
Water (unless it's a water slide inflatable)

Safe Play Guidelines Inside the Inflatable

Once the fun begins, it’s easy to get excited, but some ground rules keep things safe:

Socks are required; barefoot is okay for wet units
No flips, wrestling, or roughhousing
Do not climb walls, netting, or exterior sections
Slides: one person at a time, feet first, sitting on your bottom
Avoid the entrance step while bouncing, no jumping on it
Never jump into the netting or corners
No lap riding or carrying kids down slides

These bounce house safety rules are designed with your children's well-being in mind.

Weather & Wind Safety Rules

North Georgia weather can be unpredictable, so play it safe when conditions change:

Stop all use if winds exceed 20 mph or it starts raining
Power down the blower only after all children have exited
Dry entrance and interior before resuming play
Never use inflatables during lightning or thunderstorms

Setup & Operation Guidelines

We handle all setup and take-down for you, but please don’t alter anything:

Never move the inflatable after setup
Inflatables must remain fully staked or sandbagged
Keep blowers plugged in and running at all times
If the blower stops, remove children and check power before restarting
Low air? Ensure the air tube is secure and untwisted

Simple Tips for a Great Time

Respect goes a long way when you're sharing the fun:

Be courteous to other jumpers
Keep the inflatable clean and free of clutter
Match kids by size and age when organizing turns
Have fun and tag us in your party pics!
